Regardless of the colour or pattern the design in the small space makes me dizzy and reminds me of the carpet squares in my grandparent’s house from the 70’s.

Feature tiles are being used liberally in model homes this year. Not just limited to splash backs and floors they’re also replacing wallpaper in bedrooms too.

I can’t see this trend lasting long. Would you use tiles that look like carpet for your laundry or bathroom floor?
